This policy reduces the burden on your finances arising from catering, caskets and transport costs. How to get it
  • Visit your nearest branch if you are under the age of 75yrs
  • You must have  transactional or savings account.
  • There is no need for you to have any medical examination to join

  • MK 5 065.00 per month
  • MK 1 400.00 for any additional dependant
What you get
  • A lumpsum pay-out immediately after a death of a family members who is covered in the policy.
  • You can cover yourself, your spouse and up to six children.
  • You can also cover your parents, parents-in-law and extended family members.

An additional premium of MK 1 423.00 per head will have to be paid  to cover parents, parents inlaw and other dependants.

  • Where death is as a result of natural causes then there is three (3) months waiting period with three (3) monthly premiums paid.
  • Where death is as a result of an accident, then the benefit will be paid provided one (1) month’s premium has been paid.
  • Where death is as a result of suicide, benefits will only be paid if the policy has been in force for twenty-four (24) months with twenty-four (24) monthly premiums paid.

  • Completed claim form (to be provided by the bank)
  • Copy of ID for the claimant
  • Copy of ID for the deceased
  • Death Certificate/report or Stamped NRB slip
