Current account
A current account is a transactional account that offers an individual or business entity the ability to deposit, transfer and withdraw funds using various channels such as cheque, internet banking, Autobank in-branch banking at the customer's convenience.

How to apply (Personal Current Account)
Visit your nearest Standard Bank branch to apply for a personal current account. You will need to provide the following:
- Your valid identity
- A payslip that is not older than two months
- Proof of income
- Proof of residence
- Initial deposit to activate the account
How to Apply (Business Current Account)
Visit your nearest Standard Bank branch to apply for a business current account. You will need to provide the following:
- Certificate of registration
- Valid identity
- Source of income
- Proof of residence / business premises
- Business referees
